Q. When purchasing designs from this site, which file format do I select for my cutter?
A. The answer is based on the software that you are using with your cutter, not necessarily the cutter itself.
·If you own a Cricut with the SCAL software then you would select either the SVG or SCAL file format.
·If you own our Funtime software and are using it to cut directly to your cutter please select the WPC files.
·If you own a Wishblade, Craft Robo or Silhouette AND are using the original RoboMaster software that came with your cutter then you would select the GSD files.
·If you own a Wishblade and are using the software called Create N Cut then you would want the AI files
·If you own a Gazelle, Pazzles Creative Cutter or Pazzles Inspiration please select the WPC files.
·If you own a Klick n Kut cutter, please select the AI files... you can cut them directly from your software.
Q: Why is check out required for a free file? A: We are working on this and hopefully in the future will have a better solution.In the meantime, we do apologize for the inconvenience of having to check out to get the free file. Just like humans, web sites are never perfect.This is the only option available to us at this time and “Hey, it is a free file a little typing won’t kill ya”. If/when you are a returning customer you can just sign in and the default info will populate for you!
Q: I am a returning customer. Can you tell me how to download a Free File?
A1: Please scroll down to the bottom for the Freebie Friday directions.
A2: You have several payment choices. Our site recognizes the last payment choice you made and UNLESS you change the FOP (form of payment) then it will always default back to the last know FOP. However, you can make a FOPchange.You would make this change at check out it looks like this:

You must check the box in order to change your FOP.
A3:If you only have free items in your cart you may chose check/money order and still be able to download right away. OR if you choose PayPal then please be aware that PayPal may *require .01 (1 cent) be entered.
A4: Please keep in mind subscription members need to keep a Credit Card on file for your subscription renewal you will not be charged for the free files and the check out process will be faster.
Q: *Why does Paypal require a penny be added to the amount field for a free file?
A: We apologize for this inconvenience however it is Paypal's policy to only process orders with payments involved. If you would like to avoid this penny charge please use either the CC or check/money Order option. Both options are secure, and neither will incur a charge for "free" files.
Q: I see you have other free files available however the web site won't let me check them out. I get the error message: These products "require special authorization" before you can purchase them. What does that mean? A:We have some great Membership Programs and some items require Membership to access before you can purchase them. The item's descriptions clearly state: "Requires a Membership to access" if you see this in the items description then you know it is only free to subscription members! For details on ordering these products, please view the Member Programs that are available. If you are on one of our Membership programs and are still getting this error please make sure you are signed in with the same user name and password that you used to join the program if this continues to be a problem please contact the sales department via the customer service link at the top of our home page.
Q. How do I update my Credit Card for subscription orders?
A: First we must mention that our site recognizes the last payment choice you made and UNLESS you change the FOP (form of payment). Keep in mind that itwill always default back to the last know FOP. You will need to make the FOP change at check-out by adding at least one item to your cart...this can simply be the free weekly file but you must go through the check out process.

B. You must then contact us at sales@scrap-savvy.com with the last four digit of your credit card to let us know that you want that CC to be applied towards your subscription.
Q. I am an OTCE Subscription member how do I access the free files?
A. Please remember that you must be signed into your account before you can checkout with the free items in your cart. All OTCE files are accessible via the Subscription members link in the "Design" Files Catelog. Please remember most files are only available for a limited time. If you just want to look at ALL the NEW products added including the new free OTCE designs please visit the Category: Design>NEW Additions. (please bookmark us & check back often)
Q. Who do I contact about renewing a cancelled OTCE subscription?
A. If it is with 30 days of your renewal please email your request to: sales@Scrap-savvy.com. Otherwise please follow the memebrship option link to the left to rejoin our program.
Q. How/where should subscription cancellations be addressed?
A. Please review the product's description and terms of agreement prior to cancellation. Terms of agreement must be filled prior to cancellation. To cancel your subscription please contact the sales department at
sales@scrap-savvy.com. Please put "30 day notice/ cancelation request" in the subject line. We will need your FULL name and user id on the account (the user id is the same as the email address used at the time of purchase.)
Q. How do we know when our subscription is up for renewal? A. You can visit your account history by the "account history" link at the top right of this page. You will be required to sign in before reviewing your account history.
Q. Are the subscription renewals automatic?
A. Yes, you do not have to do anything for your subscription to renew. However, your subscription will cancel if we are unable to process your credit card payment within 3 days of the renewal date.
Q: I ordered the On the Cutting Edge Membership but don't know how to activate my membership.
A. Here is how to activate your “On The Cutting Edge” membership if you did not do so at the time of Purchase.
If you ordered an On the Cutting Edge Membership and missed reading the confirmation page here is what it said:

Thank you for your order! We really appreciate your business.
To download your purchased membership or cutting files, visit our Customer Service section, or click on Download Product Files.
If you purchased a subscription to: On The Cutting Edge, you MUST download your invite and follow the directions to join the private group to ACTIVATE your membership. Please make a note of your confirmation number below, you will need it to join.
Please make note of your confirmation number:xxxxxxx.
If you missed this step please go to your “shipping notices” gather your invoice number (in replacement of your confirmation number) and either follow the link in the shipping notice OR the link here Download Product Files OR you can simply go to the Customer Service Section via our web site and download Product files that way as well.
Either way, once you do, you will get a list of products to download. READ the instructions on that page PRIOR To downloading. Click on Welcome Letter document. It will ask you if you want to save or open. We STRONGLY suggest you SAVE this file to your desktop for easy access.
Now go to your desk top and open the file you just save.READ and follow the directions to join the yahoo group please INCLUDE your full name, order number in the message to owner field AND make sure the email address you use to join the group is the same as the as on your order.Click on the link to join your class.
Please READ and the directions to join the yahoo group.Once you’ve done this it will create a Pending membership to your class. Once we approved your membership this will activate two things for you:
1) You will have access to the yahoo group. All the tutorials are in the yahoo group. Please read and the directions carefully.
2) You will have access to the membership catalog as well as your product discount on our web site www.scrap-savvy.com
Downloading Freebie Friday File...
Step 1. Click on the link or photo in the newsletter. A new window will open and you will be taken to our website. Where we must humbly plug our new products at the bottom of the page.
Step 2. Add item to Cart.
You should see a "item added to cart" confirmation at the top. Then please take the time to look at the "You may be interested in these items" section at the bottom of the page or in any other category (to the left) that may interest you.
Step 3. Checkout.
Once you are done shopping please click on the "checkout" link (top right corner). Confirm your checkout option (returning or new customer) and click "Continue to Checkout" at the bottom of the page. On the next page you will need to either enter your user name and password if you are a returning customer OR if you are a new customer you will be prompted to set up an account. Once complete follow the on screen prompts where you will receive the download. (Since this is a free file you will not need to enter any credit card info unless you are making other purchases. Step 4. Download.
After checkout the download page opens. From this page we stronly suggest that you SAVE the zip file to your computer and THEN open. If for some reason you have troubles check your email for your shipping notice, there are alternate instructions for you.
